Stories That Make You Sick: Parents Pimping Out Their Kids

You know, sometimes you see something on the news that you have to read a few times just to make sure it’s real. In this case, it was April Fool’s Day so I had to read it a few more times before coming to the conclusion that if it WAS a joke, it was a really sick one and not funny at all.
In any case, parents everywhere, I invite you to cringe as you read this report from the AP:
Authorities: Mom caught in sex sting
Sun Apr 1, 5:14 PM ETA 33-year-old woman was arraigned Sunday on charges alleging she offered to let an undercover investigator take pornographic photos of her 7-year-old daughter and have sex with the girl, authorities said.
The woman was arrested Friday after taking the girl to a hotel in Romulus, near Detroit Metropolitan Airport, where she had agreed to meet the investigator, the Wayne County sheriff’s department said.
A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of the woman, who wasn’t represented by a lawyer at the arraignment, department spokesman John Roach said. She was held in lieu of $1 million bail, and a preliminary examination was scheduled for April 12.
Authorities said the woman offered to let the investigator take the photos for a fee and, when she met with him, discussed being paid in exchange for sex with the child, the Detroit Free Press reported.
“This is truly a horrifying case,” Sheriff Warren Evans said in a statement. “To think that a woman would offer up her own daughter in this way impossible to comprehend.”
The girl and her four siblings, ages 12, 11, 9 and 6, all were in protective custody, Roach said.
The name of the woman, who lives in this Detroit suburb, wasn’t being released to avoid identifying the child, the sheriff’s department said.
She faced five charges, including child sexually abusive behavior, illegal use of the Internet for child sexually abusive actions or materials and distribution of child sexually abusive material, Roach said.
She also was charged with prostitution, since the department said she propositioned the investigator herself. The department said the woman advertised herself online as a prostitute.
If convicted, she could get up 20 years in prison.

ok, you anti-gay folks, listen up and listen good. for years, you have been framing us as pedophiles. now a story comes out about parents offering their kids for a good time in the sack. whos sick now? this happens in 99% of YOUR community, not ours. quit framing us with your sick crap and giving us the double standard that “it’s ok” “normal” you call it healthy parent child relationships to put their kids out for pornography and sex with undercover cops? seems to me the sick ones and the ones with the dirty minds are you guys, not us. its not just this one mother. it’s you, the straight community that doesnt understand that it is wrong to scapegoat an entire glbt community for one little screw up on your part. it wasnt our fault she did this. shes the one who decided to pimp her daughter. shes the one that has to pay the fine and do the time for the crime-NO DIFFERENT!!!!

20 years locked up is not enough for this THING, she is not a human. Should get life with no parole, same as child molesters and rapists. There is no cure for them. Hell will not be Hot enough or Long enough for them.

Every person deserves the right to choose his or her own personal sexual preferance without regard to them as a person in other aspects of their life. It should not affect how we treat another person, in life that is their personal business and none of anothers.

ok ok umm not sure if you serious or now but the post about its their personal business and not ours if a mother pimps out your minor child for sex.. is how to i day this mildly.. is total bs .. it is our responsibility as adults to protect the children on this earth from a parent like this ..

I agree that this is just the tip of the iceberg here my son once bought a pc from a man here in nys and he found child porn on it.The fed’s found him in fla and he was a ped. Now how else did the pic’s get on the web or taken but by trusted people. 20 years is not enough and I can guarntee you that the 7 year old was not the only one abused here and by the way I think that gay couple make great parent’s. ^5

And just for the record, larry… your post really doesn’t have much to do with the article at hand and all you’re doing is creating more division between communities instead of bringing them together. In short - you’re not helping.
Show me where anyone is framing you as a pediphile, please, and while you’re at it, prove to me that this never happens in “your” community either. Those statements are ignorant and baseless. All communities have all sorts of things happening in them, better or worse.

some years back i heard of a woman who was pimping her 8 year old boy in a shabby part of town where she lived…i tried to get someone involved in investigating the story but no one seemed to be interested since they were poor and black…i have always wondered if that little guy survived…my thoughts turned to him when i saw the news report and that the woman in this case is white and probably the little one is also…what a shame that we are such a sick race of creatures

Thank Goodness she was caught, thank goodness it was an investigator at the hotel!
This sort of things does happen more than we want to believe, especially among meth addicts (was/is this woman a meth addict? does anyone know?).
We’ve got to get Meth out of our society! That would help curb the string of weirdos like her.

I am a teacher and am wondering.. WHERE WERE THE TEACHERS?
Also am foster parents… and my oh my… you can report this kind of stuff and little is done unless it happens in front of them OR proof… i.e. they catch the girl in bed with the guy.. and bingo.. there is the proof… Yep, DHS is little to no help… seriously..
This little girl is fortunate for this blessing in disguise… such a crude, awful thing so she could get out before it was too late for her… maybe now she will end up in a decent home.. and end up with a decent life… with the absence of a sick egg donor….

parents like this need to be fixed so there is never another chance of them prostituting their children to pay for their drug habits or other moraly corrupt behavior, it should be a law if you hurt your children then you are sterilized, no questions asked
